We are currently looking for a hands-on and detail-oriented Farm Machinery Assembly Technician to join our team.
This role involves mechanical work, assembly, equipment preparation, deliveries, and yard maintenance. The ideal candidate will have some mechanical knowledge, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
You will need to demonstrate:
- Mechanical knowledge and experience working with Farm machinery.
- Ability to assemble and set up farm equipment.
- Comfortable with water blasting and cleaning machinery.
- Experience operating a tractor for deliveries.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:
- Mechanical Work: Perform basic mechanical tasks, including troubleshooting and minor repairs.
- Assembly: Assemble new machinery according to specifications.
- Equipment Preparation: Water blast and clean used machines to prepare them for sale.
- Deliveries: Safely transport equipment using a tractor.
- Container Unloading: Assist with unloading shipments and organising inventory.
- Yard Maintenance: Keep the yard tidy and organised to ensure a safe and efficient workspace.
